Jamaica investment, JSE portfolio and BBD calculators

Use these free Jamaican investment calculators to model compound growth in JMD or USD, compare Jamaica Stock Exchange holdings, and stress-test borrowing against appreciating assets.

JSE portfolio calculator Jamaica

The Portfolio section lets you combine up to eight eligible JSE stocks with at least ten years of history. Compare equal, higher-risk, or lower-risk allocations; choose whether to reinvest dividends; add recurring contributions; and review projected portfolio value, allocation, and annual or monthly growth. Historical estimates do not guarantee future JSE returns.

Buy Borrow Die calculator Jamaica

The Buy Borrow Die calculator, shortened to BBD, projects investment assets, inflation-adjusted annual borrowing, capitalised loan interest, leverage, and net worth. Its warning identifies the first year projected debt reaches your maximum leverage limit. Jamaican lending, tax, succession, and estate rules may differ from overseas Buy Borrow Die examples.

Using a JSE closing price

Search for a Jamaica Stock Exchange security and enter the number of shares. When a daily closing price is available, the calculator converts that holding into the starting amount. The selected company does not determine the future return rate; set a rate that matches the scenario you want to test.

Investment calculator variables

Return rate is the percentage growth assumed for each year. Starting amount is the principal available at the beginning. End amount is the target or projected balance. Investment length is how long the money remains invested. Additional contribution is the regular amount added during the plan.

Using the results

Treat projections, historical growth estimates, and cached closing prices as planning inputs, not live trading quotes or promises. Verify current prices, rates, fees, tax treatment, and suitability with the Jamaica Stock Exchange and a licensed Jamaican financial institution or adviser before making a decision.
